Mayor's Breakfast
The Spring Mayor's Breakfast on Friday, March 21, hosted by the Erin Chamber of Commerce, served up some great presentations and a hearty breakfast made with hyper-local ingredients.
Mayor Michael Dehn provided an overview of what our Official Plan looks like today. Our current Official Plan came into effect in 1999 and since then has had 126 amendments, but no update. After 25 years, it might be time for an review!
Rob Adams, TOE Chief Administrative Officer, provided an update on the great progress in each of the departments.

County Councillor Jeff Duncan talked about the new Erin Library and the importance of preserving our culture and heritage. Infrastructure is expensive. The library will cost $12.9M ($8.6M from reserves, $4.3 from development charges). The library is scheduled to open September 2025. The views from the top floor will be amazing!
